History Hour: Unplugged

Join us for an unforgettable hour of Candid Conversation on Saturday, April 12, at 2:00 PM with Lieutenant Colonel Michael “Mickey” Coe as he shares his firsthand account of the devastating U.S. Embassy bombing in Beirut on April 18, 1983. On that day, a suicide bomber drove a pickup truck to the east entrance of the U.S. Embassy, where it detonated. This incident marked the first recorded suicide attack on a U.S. diplomatic post and signified a turning point in global terrorism.

History Hour: Unplugged provides unique, personal insight into a significant historical moment. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear Lt. Col. Coe’s compelling story and gain deeper insight into an event that changed the course of U.S. foreign policy.
