Step back in time and experience the style and spirit of the 1940s! On Saturday, October 18, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, the Museum of the American G.I. will bring vintage beauty to life with a special program on WWII-era hair and makeup.
From bold red lips to the unforgettable victory rolls, you’ll learn how women of the 1940s balanced glamour and practicality – whether working in factories, serving in uniform, or dancing at the USO. Our special guest presenter, Sara Boswell, will share tips and tricks to help you recreate authentic vintage looks – whether for everyday wear, reenactments or just for fun!
