Do not just read about history – experience it! Join us for a special Hands-on History event as we explore the important contribution homing pigeons made from WWI to Korea. Our friends, “Camp Lili”, will be displaying their very special collection of US Signal Corps Pigeon equipment. You will learn how these silent-winged warriors delivered messages for all branches of the US military. You will discover what it took to train and care for these special heroes. And best of all, you will see the special equipment that was used to take the pigeons to the front lines to support both infantry and airborne troops!
