Experience what life was like 250 years ago, at a critical stage of the American Revolution when ordinary men and women faced extraordinary choices—remain loyal to King and Country, or risk everything for the radical ideals of freedom and liberty. Explore the realities of military life in a world on the brink of change, from the harsh discipline and professionalism of the British Army to the determined beginnings of a new American fighting force.

Through living history and immersive interpretation, witness the birth of an American army and the clash of ideologies that would shape the future of the United States.

All of this unfolds at the Museum of the American G.I., as we commemorate 250 years of American independence—where history doesn’t just live, it comes to life.

10:10 AM – Transportation to the demonstration field begins – starting point, museum building

10:30 AM – Ceremony of Induction
Encampments Open & Living History Commences

11:30 AM – Drill & the Exercise of Muskets

12:00 PM – Dinner is Taken (Demonstrations)

12:30 PM – Instruction in the Use of the Bayonet

1:30 PM – Reading of the Declaration & Enlistment of Recruits

2:00 PM – Drill & Bayonet Exercise

3:00 PM – Life in Camp & Historical Demonstrations

4:00 PM – Conclusion of the Day (Saturday)

Sunday: All Exercises conclude at 3:00 PM
