The Dodge WC series is one of the most famous military car, superseded only by the Jeep. Its reputation was well earned, as it proved to be a reliable workhorse and was easy to produce. The Dodge WC 52 seen here could transport arms, ammunition, and personnel, and could even be fitted with an optional M24A1 machine gun mount to carry the M2 Browning Machine Gun. It performed in all major theaters of World War II as well as the Korean War. It was also exceptionally popular with the Soviet Union, which obtained thousands through the Lend-Lease Program.
