The mission of the museum is to increase the public’s appreciation of the American Servicemen and women from WWI to the present through educational programs, static and living history displays as well as historical re-enactments.
Collection
Our collection includes over 1,000+ unique pieces. On display we have fully restored and operational military vehicles, original WWI and WWII wartime posters, and military artifacts such as uniforms, weapons, equipment, insignia and flags. All of these items are central to the museum’s core mission to preserve, honor and educate. |
Events
The Museum of the American G.I. plans various educational, community, and fundraising events throughout the year, such as our Living History Weekend in the spring and our History in Motion event in the fall. Check out some of our upcoming events! |
