All May – National Military Appreciation Month

est. 1999

May is National Military Appreciation Month, a special month for both those in and out of the military. Thank you to every member of our military and your families for your selfless sacrifices you have and continue to make for this country!

May is National Military Appreciation Month, a special month for both those in and out of the military. Designated by Congress in 1999, May was chosen because it already has many individual days set aside to not our military’s achievements, including Loyalty Day, Victory in Europe Day, Children of Fallen Patriots Day, and Memorial Day.

Each year the president makes a proclamation to remind Americans of the important role the Armed Forces have played in the history and development of our country. Thank you so much to all current and former military service members, not just this month, but always.
