Living History Weekend General Volunteer Information

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Museum of the American G.I.’s Living History Weekend on March 25 – 28,2021. In 2019, 2,500 spectators attended the event so we need lots of volunteers! We need your help with:

  • Event Setup / Take Down
  • Ticket Gate (collect entry fees and answer questions)
  • Driving Lane guards (direct spectators to pedestrian paths)
  • General event volunteers 

Volunteers must be over 18 years old unless with Trail life, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, National Honor Society, or similar organizations. Volunteers with these organizations can be 13-15 years old if volunteering with a parent volunteer or 16 -18 alone with a volunteer liability release signed by a parent. Volunteers under 18 need to email the museum with their name, age, and affiliate information upon registering – [email protected]

Volunteers will be parking at Santa’s Wonderland Lot and walking to the museum property. Please check-in at the ticket gate early for instructions and directions to your volunteer location.

What to wear: Comfortable Jeans, T-Shirt, tennis shoes, or organization shirt, Corps of Cadet utilities with Corps (not Unit) T-shirt.
What not to wear: sandals, exercise shorts, sweat pants, exercise clothes.
