DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join us on April 2\, 2027 for the Museum of the American G.I.’s Living History School Day—where history comes alive. \nThrough a series of living history camps\, students will explore U.S. military history from the Civil War to the present day. Each station offers a unique perspective—whether through equipment displays\, demonstrations\, or first-person interpretation—designed to engage curiosity and encourage questions. \nStudents move through the program on a timed rotation schedule\, ensuring each group has the opportunity to participate in multiple stations throughout the day. \nFree parking is provided at Santa’s Wonderland Blitzen Lot. \nRegistration opens January 27\, 2027\, at 10:00 AM$10 Students | $7 Parents and Extended FamilyPrivate/Public Schools: 1 teacher at no charge for every 10 students \nSpace is limited to 300 students. Registration closes March 19 or when capacity is reached. \nThis is an outdoor special event\, and the museum building will not be open during the program. \nClick the button below for more information!

SUMMARY:Living History Weekend 2027
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Living History Weekend on April 3 & 4\, 2027! Visitors will view Living History Displays\, witness the roar of tanks in our WWII ETO skirmishes\, and see a WWII Marine Tactical demonstration.  Visitors will step back in history as they view WWI skirmishes\, see History in Action during our Vietnam Era Skirmish and Flame Thrower demonstration\, and view historic military vehicles. This family-friendly event is sure to have something for everyone! \nEveryone will enjoy the free parking at Santa’s Wonderland’s new Blitzen Lot (no parking on site). \nCome early and stay all day! You will not want to miss anything. Food vendors will be on-site to make sure no one goes hungry!  On Saturday\, you can eat your fill of everyone’s favorite Big Dawg Barbecue and Raging Bull Street Tacos.  Of course\, you will want to quench your thirst and cool off with Kona Ice! \nOne Day Tickets (Cash price)\n$25 Adults\, $10 Kids (5-17)\, Under five free \nTwo-Day Tickets\n$40 Adults\, $17.50 Kids\, Under five free (Cash price) \nAdmission tickets will go on sale on February 3rd at 10 AM. \nClick the button below for a list of activities and a tentative schedule!
