DESCRIPTION:Coming November 7 & 8\, 2026\n \nTanks\, Tanks\, Tanks!Feel the ground shake and engines roar at the Museum of the American G.I.’s History in Motion! Watch historic tanks\, military vehicles\, and artillery spring to life in a thrilling\, action-filled weekend that brings the past into the present. You’ll experience one of the South’s premier collections of fully restored WWII and Vietnam-era vehicles—in motion. \nThis family-friendly event is packed with exciting activities for all ages! Tanks and vehicles will run throughout the day\, with special demonstrations featuring historic weapons\, artillery\, and rare vehicles. Between shows\, explore the displays up close—or climb aboard for a ride in a WWII tank or Half-Track! \nWe begin each day with a special presentation of the National Anthem at 10:00 AM\, setting the stage for the day’s events.  The event will showcase special weapons demonstrations\, and TWO BIG Vehicle Demonstrations.  Make sure you do not leave early or you will miss the finale: a powerful artillery demonstration that ends the day with a BOOM! \nGates open at 9:00 AMEvent hours: Saturday & Sunday\, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM \nFREE Parking is available at Santa’s Wonderland’s Blitzen Lot. DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join us on April 2\, 2027 for the Museum of the American G.I.’s Living History School Day—where history comes alive. \nThrough a series of living history camps\, students will explore U.S. military history from the Civil War to the present day. Each station offers a unique perspective—whether through equipment displays\, demonstrations\, or first-person interpretation—designed to engage curiosity and encourage questions. \nStudents move through the program on a timed rotation schedule\, ensuring each group has the opportunity to participate in multiple stations throughout the day. \nFree parking is provided at Santa’s Wonderland Blitzen Lot. \nRegistration opens January 27\, 2027\, at 10:00 AM$10 Students | $7 Parents and Extended FamilyPrivate/Public Schools: 1 teacher at no charge for every 10 students \nSpace is limited to 300 students. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Living History Weekend on April 3 & 4\, 2027! Visitors will view Living History Displays\, witness the roar of tanks in our WWII ETO skirmishes\, and see a WWII Marine Tactical demonstration.  Visitors will step back in history as they view WWI skirmishes\, see History in Action during our Vietnam Era Skirmish and Flame Thrower demonstration\, and view historic military vehicles. This family-friendly event is sure to have something for everyone! \nEveryone will enjoy the free parking at Santa’s Wonderland’s new Blitzen Lot (no parking on site). \nCome early and stay all day! You will not want to miss anything.
