Join us on February 28 for an engaging talk with Sara Boswell as she explores how everyday Americans adapted to wartime shortages and rationing through creative cooking and the nationwide Victory Garden movement. \nThis program will examine how ration books worked\, which foods were hardest to come by\, and how families learned to “make do” while still feeding their households. Learn how Victory Gardens transformed lawns into lifelines\, supplying fresh produce and boosting morale on the home front.
