United States Marine and Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 1920 James Vernon “Pinky” Wilson creates and writes the  “Aggie War Hymn” while serving in “The Great War”.  The original painting, Hullaballo,  by Jane Metz  is part of The Museum of the American G.I.’s exhibit Over There: America in WWI.
