The Museum of the American G.I. is proud to host both permanent and temporary exhibits outside of our collection of vehicles and uniforms. These exhibits usually concentrate on a specific time period or conflict, serving as a means to educate the public and honor the memories of the troops who served. Check back often to see what new and exciting exhibits we have coming up!
Texas Vietnam Heroes Exhibit
This commemorative exhibit features hand-embossed dog tags for every Texas serviceman who died or went missing in action during the Vietnam War. Visitors are encouraged to touch the dog tags as they search for friends and family members who made the ultimate sacrifice in one of America’s most controversial wars.
